resignation letter

Alsmith Ricana
Area Manager
Area 5.1
Fresh N’ Famous Foods Inc. – Greenwich
Cebu City

Dear Sir Alsmith:

This letter has been made to formally tender my resignation as an Assistant Restaurant Manager assigned in Greenwich Ayala effective April 30, 2011.

It is with great honor to be part of the company that boasts to be the “Philippines’ Favorite Pizza” and be one of its barkada. I have felt the need to move on and look for my way. I am young, hip, vibrant, potentially witty and flexible but most of all I feel that I have a mission to fulfill. My work in Greenwich has been part of my system and I do deliver it with much enthusiasm and passion. You have seen me do things beyond what is expected and what is normal without complain or doubt.. I can handle pressures and stress and still put a cheerful smile to everyone I meet.

I believe that the world awaits me and a vast opportunity is right just there waiting for me. I have to take risks and explore the things that will give me total gratification and fulfillment. Maybe impractical, but I have already serve much here and it is time to give myself a closer look of what I really want and what I really love to do and I believe that making your passion your profession makes you excel and will give you satisfaction despite the circumstances.

One thing I really want to do is to serve. It is my great happiness to serve others, to help, to bring joy, to share, and to bring God’s love. Maybe this is what the feeling of “called” being like. Lately I suddenly lost my interest in going abroad, I lost appetite for gadgets and other material things and I even give like there is nothing left for me. Signs and nature also triggered in the contribution of this resignation.

Funny it seems but I will consider and assess myself by entering into a community or into the seminary if it is really God who is calling me. This is a tough and long road ahead of me but through the grace of God and the support of my family and friends I may endure in this journey.

Before I will leave, I promise to do all my pending duties and will endorse properly to whom I will pass my responsibility for smooth transition. Thank you so much for everything sir, for mentoring me and I apologize for this abrupt notice, my prayers will always be throughout the Greenwich Family.

Respectfully yours,

Mark Jimuel “MJ” Castillo
